Üçyol, Nusaybin
Üçyol (Kurdish: Seyderi, lit. 'three gates'; Syriac: Sēdäri) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Nusaybin, Mardin Province in Turkey. The village is populated by Assyrians and had a population of 64 in 2021.
History
In 1915, Sēdäri (today called Üçyol) was inhabited by 10 Assyrian families. They adhered to the Syriac Orthodox Church. Amidst the Sayfo, survivors took refuge at the Mor Malke Monastery. The village had a population of 205 in 1960. There were 287 Turoyo-speaking Christians in 39 families in 1966. By 1987, there were 18 Assyrian families.
