Abbey, Leicester

Abbey is one of twenty one electoral districts and ward within the Leicester City Council unitary area of Leicester in Leicestershire, England. It had a population of 22,105 at the 2021 Census.

Geography

The ward encompasses the northern parts of the city and covers the suburb of Wolsey Island and a small part of the village of Birstall in the Charnwood Borough, which is part of the wider Leicester Urban Area.
