Arrondissement Of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne

The arrondissement of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne is an arrondissement of France in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It has 53 communes. Its population is 43,091 (2016), and its area is 1,976.0 km (762.9 sq mi). The area corresponds to the former province of Maurienne.

History

The arrondissement of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne was created in 1860.
