Belga (news Agency)
Belga is a Belgian news agency which was founded in 1920 as the Agence télégraphique belge de presse by Pierre-Marie Olivier and Maurice Travailleur. The agency was based in Schaerbeek and currently headquartered in Brussels.
Belga News Agency is the main supplier of daily news to Belgian media. Belga currently employs 135 staff including 100 journalists.
It is an active member of the European Alliance of News Agencies.
