Bungudu (or Bungundu) is a Local Government Area in Zamfara State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Bungudu at12°16′00″N 6°33′24″E / 12.26667°N 6.55667°E / 12.26667; 6.55667.

It has an area of 2,293 km and a population of 257,917 at the 2006 census.
