Oberkapfenberg Castle (German: Burg Oberkapfenberg) is a castle in Styria, Austria. It is 592 metres (1,942 ft) above sea level.

CASTLE HISTORY 1173 a „Chaffenberch“ castle is mentioned 1268 the today's castle is built by the Stubenberg familiy 1550 it is rebuilt in Renaissance style 1740 the Stubenberg moved into the new Wieden castle, the old castle became a ruin 1955 the Oberkapfenberg castle was reconstructed by the Stubenberg 1992 the municipality of Kapfenberg bought the castle
