Cham Kabud, Abdanan

Cham Kabud (Persian: چم كبود) is a village in Jaber-e Ansar Rural District of the Central District of Abdanan County, Ilam province, Iran. It was the capital of the former Cham Kabud Rural District of Sarab Bagh District.

The village is populated by Kurds.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,054 in 213 households, when it was in Cham Kabud Rural District. The following census in 2011 counted 1,290 people in 332 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,202 people in 351 households, by which time the village had been transferred to Jaber-e Ansar Rural District of the Central District.
