Charlos Heights, Montana

Charlos Heights or Charlo's Heights (Salish: nkʷalíʔps ) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ravalli County, Montana, United States. The population was 120 at the 2010 census.

Geography

Charlos Heights is located along U.S. Route 93 in the valley of the Bitterroot River. It is 9 miles (14 km) south of Hamilton and 8 miles (13 km) north of Darby.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.0 km), all land.

The area south of Charlos Heights is called ɫmq̓ʷcn̓é in Salish.
