Dastgerdan District
Dastgerdan District (Persian: بخش دستگردان) is a former administrative division of Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Eshqabad.
History
Tabas County became a part of Yazd province in 2001. It was separated from the province to join South Khorasan province in 2013.
In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Eshqabad County.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 11,659 in 3,246 households. The following census in 2011 counted 10,826 people in 3,284 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,255 inhabitants in 3,350 households.
