Муравьев М.Н., граф Виленский, генерал от инфантерии, государственный деятель. Участник войны 1812 г. и заграничных походов 1813-1814 гг. Был ранен в Бородинском сражении.
Это семейная площадка, где были также похоронены жена Муравьева, Пелагея Васильевна, урожденная Шереметева, их сын Леонид Михайлович, дочь, Софья Михайловна (1835-1880), бывшая замужем за Сергеем Сергеевичем Шереметевым, надгробие которого сохранилось рядом с часовней; и десятилетняя внучка, Пелагея Сергеевна Шереметева.
