A new piece was added to the front of the headquarters of 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, when Huffman, Texas, native Col. Mike Kershaw, commander of 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, presented it in commemoration of the support 1st ACB provided his unit. The piece is a capture enemy DShK anit-aircraft weapon, one very similar to the ones destroyed by 4th Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st ACB, an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter unit recognized during a ceremony later that day.
