The former residence of Alma Thomas is on the left-hand side. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1987. The former residence of Mary Jane Patterson is the center building.
Built in 1875 (left), 1880 (center), and 1892 (right), the Italianate and Queen Anne-style homes are designated as contributing properties to the Greater Fourteenth Street Historic District, listed on the NRHP in 1994.
