File:1st Fighter Wing.png
Emblem of the 1st Fighter Wing, a wing of the United States Air Force. The Latin motto "Aut Vincere Aut Mori" is translated as "Conquer or Die".
The green and black colors represent the colors of the Army Air Service, the five stripes signify the original five flying squadrons, and the five crosses symbolized the five major World War I campaigns credited to the group.

This military insignia image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with
{{vector version available|new image name}} .
It is recommended to name the SVG file “1st Fighter Wing.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter. |
