File:20070705Kasteel Meeuwen.jpg

A small castle in Meeuwen, the Netherlands, or rather the 1936 reconstruction of one of the side buildings of a much larger Medieval fortress with a history going back to 1350. It has seen demolition, destruction by and WWII at close range. Fragments of the walls of the original forebuilding remain in the current building, which happens to be private property and closed to the public.
