A piece of planking (File:AU Schooner Coolangatta plk.jpg) from the wreck is in a park to the east of the headland, at the corner of Marine Parade and McLean Street. You can just make it out on Google Maps 28°10′00″S 153°32′09″E / 28.166797°S 153.535794°E
