File:Aerial View Of Tacloban After Typhoon Haiyan.jpg
A church on the outskirts of Tacloban is one of the few buildings to remain unscathed after Typhoon Haiyan devastated the city on 8 November 2013.
Two and a half weeks on from the disaster the main roads have been cleared and aid is getting through but, many people remain in need of assistance. The UK is providing £55m in humanitarian aid, in the form of shelter kits, food, medicine and water purification tablets, as well as Royal Navy ships and Royal Air Force planes to help distribute the aid to remote areas.
