Arm River Rest Area Access 1 Road Sign. A rest area is usually located in a clump of trees and will generally have picnic tables, rest room or outhouse facilities, trash bins and parking area to provide a resting spot for highway travellers wishing to rest. Sometimes the rest area site will feature a scenic view or historic marker.
