Notes
The Ramarama Country Women's Institute was first formed in Ramarama on May 10th 1933. It was the CWI which took a very active part in raising money for the building of the Ramarama Hall. They held a Queen Carnival and took an active part in all other fund raising for the project. Other activities over the years have included collecting for the IHC, Braille, Riding for the Disabled - and dinner and luncheon bars at their fund raising days; also dancing classes for teenagers, catering for dances, twenty-firsts, weddings and teas, when asked.
