Fort McCoy Garrison Commander Col. Raymond G. Boland shares an on-stage laugh with Bob Hope. Hope donated tickets to his Oct. 19, 1990 show in La Crosse, Wis., to soldiers who were training at Fort McCoy in preparation for the Gulf War. Boland presented Hope with a desert camouflage BDU jacket and cap in appreciation for the tickets for the troops.
