File:Caloplaca Variabilis (Pers.) Müll. Arg 918275.jpg
Image location: Parque de Monsanto, Lisboa, Portugal
A tremendous amount of specimens of this species were found dispersed by the calcareous columns of a big and very old garden. Since my computer inputs its perfomance while connected to the mycoscope I present some micrographs.I didn’t found yet the cause for the problem, but is certainly related to the computer drivers. For the microcopy I returned to the technique of boiling the slide after add IKI; this gives better visibility to the spores and their septation.
- Microscopy: Ascus (x1000, in IKI)
Recognized by sight
