File:Cherry Blossoms Of Gobancho, Tokyo, C1910 (8372629679).jpg
The embassy hasn't moved, but the road is now called Inner Moat Road. Gobancho (Fifth District) is now Ichibancho, confusingly! From the Hanzomon subway station to Uchiboridoori (Inner Moat Road) and north to the bend in the moat was Gobancho.
It's clear in this 1900 map of Koujimachi Ward on the Rumsey Japanese historical maps site. The bridge in the center of the moat is Hanzomon. Look north of there.
The area is still very popular for cherry blossom viewing.
NOTE: From a set of public domain images collected by Rob Ketcherside. He applied a CC license on Flickr because Flickr does not offer a PD option. The description here is largely his.
