English: A White Stork at Tsavo East National Park, Kenya. Its knees and lower legs are a whitish colour due to being covered by bird guano - an example of thermoregulation by en:urohidrosis. The nominate is the subspecies that migrates to the summer weather of Kenya, while it is winter in Europe.
