Capilla de los Condestables.Catedral de Burgos
Edificada sobre la capilla central de la girola, sustituye a la primitiva capilla gótica dedicada a San Pedro. La nueva gran capilla fue encargada por los Condestables de Castilla Pedro Fernández de Velasco y Mencía de Mendoza y Figueroa para servir de panteón familiar y aunque su denominación popular sea la de Capilla del Condestable (o de los Condestables), su nombre exacto es Capilla de la Purificación de la Virgen, a la que estaba consagrada.
