File:Daspletosaurus Juvenle.jpg
A cast of a juvenile Daspletosaurus skull at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. Daspletosaurus is one of the tyrannosaurids. It lived just before T. rex, and although not quite as big it had a very heavy skull with massive bones.
This cast is of a skull found in Glacier County, Montana. Although Daspletosaurus specimens in Canada have been fully described as Daspletosaurus torosus, the Montana specimens have not yet been completely examined. It is possible that the Montana specimens may be two sub-genuses of the Daspletosaurus family.
