Le menu de la soirée était : Filet de féra fumé, Croustadine de Lucerne (Chügelipastetli) et soupe à l'orge des Grisons. – Roulade d'omble chevalier du Lac Léman. – Filet de veau nostrano au risotto Carnaroli Gran Riserva aux cèpes. – Fromage fribourgeois (Gruyère et Vacherin) et poires à botzi caramélisées. – Tube meringué, fraises, et agrumes de Borex. – Avec une sélection de vins suisses des cantons de Neuchâtel, Genève, Zurich, Valais, Vaud et Tessin.

La « gastrodiplomatie » est un art délicat qui, pratiqué avec doigté, peut faire des miracles. « Donnez-moi de bons cuisiniers, je vous ferai de bons traités », promettait Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord (1754–1838), Ministre des Relations extérieures, à l'Empereur Napoléon Bonaparte (1769–1821).
