GHSC-PSM worked together with the Ethiopian government structures at different levels to efficiently and effectively distribute over 4.1 million long lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) in four regional states of the country in less than two months. GHSC-PSM uses locally available means to ensure the cost-effective and timely distribution of LLINs to communities.

Residents of Ambasel in northeastern Ethiopia, Amhara State, show remarkable commitment working with GHSC-PSM and walk for up to eight hours carrying 2,400 LLINs together with donkeys in route to reach Gishen Mariam town. The distributed nets reached 1,140 households benefiting over 4,900 people
