File:Diving Stage.jpg
This is NOT a 'scuba platform', it is a Diving stage used for transport of surface supplied divers from the boat to the worksite under water. It is common practice for surfsce supplied divers to be weighted heavy if they will be working on the bottom, as it allows walking and stability for work. Weighted boots are a common accessory for this mode of diving as they help the diver stay upright. Pbsouthwood (talk) 08:29, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
