File:Duffield Station Luggage Shed.jpg
Description: Duffield Station luggage shed by entrance gate.
Note the typical Midland Railway diagonal fencing. Between them was a footpath to the Wirksworth platform and bridge over the line from Chapel Street, convenient for passengers on foot. The bridge, however, had been closed by the time this photo was taken. Unlike most of the station the shed survived until 2007 when it was demolished by the developer of the new estate who also blocked the right of way to the Wirksworth platform.
