Location: Back side of Rangpur Town Hall.

During our liberation war, The Pak militaries had one of their local Torture Cell at “Modern Cinema Hall”. The Modern Cinema Hall is the present “Town Hall” beside the public library of Rangpur. Many people were murdered and buried here during the war.

১৯৭১ সালে বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধের সময়ে রংপুর টাউন হল (ততকালিন মডার্ন সিনেমা হল) এ অনেক মানুষকে নির্যাতন করে হত্যা করে পাকিস্তানি সেনাবাহিনী। সেই সকল নিহতদের স্মরণে এই স্মৃতিসৌধ নির্মিত।
