Built in 1941, W5856 is now operated by the Royal Navy Historic Flight based at Yeovilton.
She wears the markings of an 820NAS aircraft from HMS Ark Royal, which participated in the sinking of the German battleship 'Bismark'. Bismark finally sunk on 27th May 1941, 75 years and nine days before this photo was taken!
She is seen displaying at the 'Fly Navy' Airshow,
Old Warden, Bedfordshire, UK.
