On our final day of the Yushan hike, the surroundings became increasingly tropical as we descended. This guy was presumably the boss of the pack, being somewhat larger than all the others and walked around this dry stream bed peering at us whilst the other members of the group spread out to get a better look from relative safety.
I wasn't very well equipped... shy animals, dim, contrasty light, only a 300mm non-IS lens and a tripod... not to mention no experience in shooting this sort of subject. I only got a few reasonable shots which are a bit blurry and indistinct.Licensing
