The grave of Russell Gregory at the Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Gregory was a prominent early resident of the cove and key to its defense during the U.S. Civil War. Gregory Bald, a mountain rising above Cades Cove to the southwest, is named for him.
