Built for the US Navy with the Bureau No 70222. Civil registered as N1078Z in 1961 and joined the Confederate Air Force (CAF)in 1972. She is still operated by the CAF, although they have since become the Commemorative Air Force. Worn the scheme of F6F-5 70143(board David McCampbell). She is seen taking off to display at the 2019 Wings over Houston Airshow. Ellington Airport, Houston, Texas.
