Located on the town's southwestern coast facing the Leyte Gulf, the Guiuan Integrated Transport Terminal functions as an "integrated" terminal for both land and sea transport. A seaside park provides locals and visitors a place to hang out and watch the sunset. Motorized outrigger boats are moored at the foot of the steps leading into the waters of the Leyte Gulf, directly in front of the seaside park.
Land transportation available at the terminal includes motorized cycle rickshaws ("motorcab-for-hire" or MCH), buses, jeepneys and trucks having regular routes going within and out of Guiuan.
Sea transportation moored at the terminal includes motorized outrigger boats ("pumpboats") that function both as fishing vessels and passenger boats ferrying people from the Guiuan mainland (Samar Island) to the other islands within Guiuan's territory (Manicani, Tubabao, Homonhon and Suluan) and vice versa.
