Nature has lots of time. Way up high on this sandstone mesa She had begun to carve an arch. Thousands of years from now it will be ready for viewing.
These thing begin with water seeping down through the sandstone until it find a fracture. Then it drips down and washes away a tiny bit of stone. After hundred of years there is an alcove. That alcove may turn into an arch. We'll never know, will we?
