File:Inner Courtyard At Wing Sun (12254959785).jpg
This is the inner courtyard of the Wing Sun company. Besides being the base for Dr. Sun Yat Sen's
revolutionary movement, ths place, located at 120 Armenian Street was also where Malaysia's oldest Chinese newspaper, Kwong Wah Jit Poh, was founded, in 1910. I loved the indoor plants that grow nicely due to the open courtyard. The floor tiles seen here are of a geometrical design popular with the Peranakan, in peach, brown and green shades.(Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia, Nov. 2013)
