File:Interior Of All Saints Harlow Hill 040.jpg
Interior of Church of All Saints, Otley Road, Harlow Hill, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It is the cemetery chapel in Harlow Hill Cemetery, and was designed in 1870 by architects Isaac Thomas Shutt and Alfred Hill Thompson. Natural-light image of the carrillon of 8 tubular bells in the belfry of the tower. It was important to get a natural-light image of the belfry, to show up the louvred windows (flash photography masks these). The louvred windows are proof that this is the belfry, so that it can be seen that the original bell is no longer in place.
Note: It was necessary to get a natural-light image of the belfry (see above), but this is a dark place, so that the quality is affected. The image was achieved by taking a black image with flash forced off, then digitally editing it by increasing gamma until this picture appeared. This image is probably irreplaceable, since there is no public access here.
