Tropical Cyclone 18S (Isha) was forming in the southern Indian Ocean east of Madagascar on Feb. 12, 2003. This true-color image of the storm was captured by the MODIS instrument on NASA's Aqua satellite at 0825 UTC. 18S was still a very weak storm, with maximum sustained winds of 30 knots (10-minute average) and a minimum central pressure of 997 mb.
