St. Wendel zum Stein

Deutsch: Wallfahrtskapelle von 1515 bei Dörzbach. Vorne: Jagst.
Hinten: Große, teilweise abgebaute, ca. 10m hohe Kalktuff-Barre. Darin mehrere Primärhöhlen sichtbar. Sedimentation aus Karstquellen seit dem Holozän noch aktiv.
English: Chapel from 1515 near Dörzbach, next to river Jagst, Germany.
10m high petrified „Calcereous Tuff" deposit (carbonate rock). Use as quarry disclosed several primary caves. The Karst springs sedimenting since Holocene period are still active.
