Former Secretary of State and U.N. Ambassador Madeleine Albright discussed highlights of her public service career with former CBS News journalist Bob Schieffer on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at the LBJ Presidential Library. The event was open to members of the Friends of the LBJ Library.
Secretary Albright's appearance marked the opening of a special exhibition, Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection, on view at the LBJ Library from Oct. 28, 2017 through Jan. 21, 2018. The exhibition showcases more than 200 beautiful pins and brooches that Albright wore as a diplomat as a visual way to express her messages.
