The three vents relating to 232 CE eruption and later Waitahanua Bank vent are according to the work of Tapscott 2023 are from south to north:
- Y1 and Y3 phases of the 232 CE eruption
- Horomatangi Reefs which is now Y2 and Y5 of the 232 CE eruption as well as post 232 CE vent
- Waitahanui Bank, a post 232 CE vent
- Y4 phase of the 232 CE eruption
