Der Kaiser überreicht auf einer säulenumstandener Agora vor einem zweisäuligen Tempel stehend der Bürgerschaft, die ihn in Verehrung grüßt, einen Kranz. An den Seiten den Platzes stehen Soldaten, im Vordergrund zwischen den Säulen weitere ...

Kommentar: Die Szene wird mit Caracallas Besuch von Laodikeia 216/217 in Verbindung gebracht. Außer den Münzbildern gibt es keine weiteren Hinweise auf den Besuch dieser Stadt. L. Aelius Pigres war zum dritten Mal Asiarch, als diese Emission mit der Szene des Kaiserbesuches auf der Agora geschlagen wurde, deren Herstellung er bezahlt haben dürfte, wie aus dem 'anetheken' hervorgeht.
