File:London's Latest Tube (1906 Advert).jpg
Advert map issued by the Underground Electric Railways Company of London (UERL) following the opening of the the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway (GNP&BR, now the Piccadilly line) on 15 December 1906.
The map shows the lines operated and under construction by the UERL drawn with thick lines: the GNP&BR, the Baker Street and Waterloo Railway (B&SWR, now the Bakerloo line) and the Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway (CCE&HR, now part of the Northern line) and the central section of the District Railway (now the District line) with the stations named.
The Aldwych branch of the GNP&BR, the entire CCE&HR and the extension of the BS&WR from Baker Street to Paddington were all under construction or approved for construction and are shown as dashed lines. They all opened in 1907, except for B&SWR from Edgware Road to Paddington which opened in 1913.
Other Underground lines (Central London Railway, City and South London Railway, Metropolitan Railway) and some of the main line services are shown drawn as thin lines. This UK artistic or literary work, of which the author is unknown and cannot be ascertained by reasonable enquiry, is in the public domain because it is one of the following:
