Australia’s largest Christmas gift appeal will celebrate its 25th Anniversary when it launches this Wednesday 14 November. The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal has collected over five million gifts during the 24 years it has been running, providing essential help to families in need over the festive period. This year it will raise the stakes further, aiming to collect half a million gifts for The Salvation Army.
To celebrate this exciting milestone, well-known Australian personalities willcome together to place the first gifts under the Christmas tree to officially launch the 2012 Appeal.
