Image was created with the software QFitsView and Phtotoshop Elements https://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ott/QFitsView/index.html
Image Creation:
I did first create red, green and blue images from the MUSE cube.
I did choose wavelengths that closely match colors of the visible spectrum:
blue: 475 - 500 nm
green: 485 - 625 nm
red: 565 - 750 nm
I intentionally did choose wavelength ranges to overlap with each other. For example: blue ends with the wavelength of cyan (500 nm), while green begins with the wavelength of cyan (485 nm).
Blue however begins at 475 nm, because MUSE cannot observe at shorter wavelengths (violet and short wavelengths of blue).
