Original description: " Streets full of young people; some in pirate costumes. Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Louisiana. "
- Notes: A portion of the marquee of a cinema is visible in the background, on which can be read "CONSTANCE CUMMINGS 7 SINNERS". This no doubt refers to the UK release version of the film "Seven Sinners", which starred Constance Cummings (as opposed to the 1940 US remake). Per imdb [1] it debuted in the US in August 1936, which suggests this photo would date to Mardi Gras 1937.
