The long fitted pantaloons with their wide ruffle flaring out over the ankle are the most distinguishing feature of the costume. The dress itself is of the most simple, long-sleeved style. It is practical for the working woman since it reaches below the knees.
The Metouali woman's headdress is a black veil tied around the head with a folded scarf.Licensing
