English: The Niche[cubicle] of the Mosque which indicates the direction of prayer towards Kaaba [Makkah, Saudi Arabia].The imam conducts the prayer from this place. Around it, on the frame we see arabic inscriptions taken from different chapters of the Holy Quran representing the 99 Divine Attributes of God [ALLAH] which describes Him : the Compassionate, The Merciful, The Absolute,the First,the Last ,the Forgiver,the Creator,the Unique and son on. Those attributes are important in the islamic religion because there is a Hadith saying: Whoever knows the 99 Attributes of God and meditates about them , God will give him Paradise.
On the top of the Mihrab between stars we see a verse from the Quran , chapter 3 verse 37 which mentions the word Mihrab[sanctuary] and talks about a miracle which happened to virgin Mary[Maryem] when she was in the sanctuary, praying. Virgin Mary is important in Islam because she is considered pure and is the mother of prophet Jesus(peace be upon him) |

Moscheea Carol Romanian: Nișa [firida] moscheii care indică direcția de rugăciune spre Kaaba [Mecca, Arabia Saudită].Imamul conduce rugăciunea din acest loc. În jurul său, pe ramă, vedem inscripții arabe preluate din diferite capitole ale Sfântului Coran, reprezentând cele 99 de Atribute divine ale lui Dumnezeu [ALLAH], care îl descriu pe Acesta : Milostivul, Înduratorul, Absolutul, Întâiul, Ultimul, Iertătorul, Creatorul, Unicul și așa mai departe până la 99. Aceste atribute sunt importante în religia islamică deoarece există un Hadis care spune urmatoarele : Oricine cunoaște cele 99 de Atribute ale lui Dumnezeu și meditează asupra lor , Dumnezeu îi va dărui Paradisul. În partea de sus a Mihrabului, între stele vedem un verset din Coran, capitolul 3-Imran, versetul 37, unde se menționează cuvântul Mihrab [sanctuar] și cuprinde un miracol care i s-a întâmplat Fecioarei Maria [Meryem] când se afla în sanctuar, rugându-se. Fecioara Maria este importantă în Islam deoarece este considerată pură și este mama profetului Iisus(pacea fie asupra sa)
