Een nog werkende graanmolen, gebouwd in 1727 in Zaandam. In 1902 naar Texel verplaatst. De Traanroeier is te bezoeken als onderdeel van Kaap Skil, museum van jutters & zeelui. De molen draait nog regelmatig en het meel wordt in het museum verkocht en op het eiland in brood en taart verwerkt.
Traanroeier is a working flour mill, built in 1727 in Zaandam. After nearly 200 years of service, it was moved to Texel in 1902. The Traanroeier can be visited as part of Kaap Skil, museum of beachcombers and seafarers. The mill still runs regularly and the flour is sold in the museum and processed on the island in bread and cake.
