English: AN-FPS-35 Radar at Camp Hero, Montauk, NY. This is the only radar of this kind left. It has been decommissioned and was left officially because boaters on Long Island sound said it was a much better landmark than the Montauk Lighthouse. The radar plays prominently in the debate about "The Montauk Project" and time travel. I took this photo in March 2006 with a Canon A60.
